Your best experience as a leader: Acting as a chief on a tiny Fijian island, which entailed being a liaison between visiting members of a sustainable tourism project and the local tribe.

After years working with emerging technology platforms and solving larger cross-disciplinary problems in the digital agencies, Kaz earned her stripes in the start-up world, leading strategy and operations for early social media innovators and then an open-source cloud computing powerhouse focused on the developing world. To further support entrepreneurs and organizations, she has built a global practice as a skilled human-centered designer, innovation strategist and leadership facilitator with organizations ranging from THNK to Mattel to the Smithsonian, in addition to early-stage start-ups. With a background across media platforms, Kaz brings a unique creative perspective to her work. She is a Stanford graduate, and a Certified Scrum Master.
